Loop Earplugs was facing some internal challenges. It takes effort to grow with incredible speed, and some departments were feeling the strain. They expanded into new locations, felt the weight of increasing complexity & the difficulty to stay connected when there's more loopers than ever before. Loop sought to address these issues and foster a stronger sense of community and shared purpose through a reimagined company gathering called inspiration week.
The involvement
As a creative lead and facilitator, I was brought in to design and deliver an engaging and impactful 2,5 day experience for Loop's 250 employees spanning all practical elements of the event (except securing the location and catering). This involved crafting the overall narrative, designing activities, crowd management, hosting the activities and coaching session leaders to ensure a cohesive and inspiring event.

Process
Disassembly & reassembly
To address a sense of growing apart, we created a metaphorical “disassembly” and “reassembly” & “propel” process over three days.
Day one encouraged reflection on the past year, acknowledging challenges and celebrating successes. Day two focused on future thinking, aligning teams around Loop's strategy and fostering collaborative problem-solving.
The final day centred on building excitement for the future, I had a pet design idea where I strived to launch “something“ into the air, with the grace of the Loop team, support from the Mischief team (and lots of helium), we released Loopers wishes for the future to the skies using many, many balloons.
Tight turnaround
Mischief Makers and I were brought in late into the process, with 3 weeks left to establish the contents of this event. We had to pull some late nights, but I was really happy with how the event unfolded given the tight schedule. We had a blast on the days and so did participants.

The tight collab with the Loop team meant that we could ensure the event kept the feel of an internal event.
